chroma-2-paint-2-l-cool-red
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Cool Red

Chroma 2 Paint - Cool Red (2L) is a vibrant, non-toxic acrylic paint crafted in Australia, offering exceptional performance for primary and secondary school art programs. With its dense pigmentation and creamy texture, this versatile paint delivers bold, consistent colour and excellent coverage across a range of techniques, including silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and general painting applications. Uniquely formulated to not dry completely hard, Chroma 2 allows for easy clean-up of brushes and tools even after use. Its œholdout feature ensures that dry paint layers maintain integrity, enabling students to blend or layer over without lifting previous work. The semi-permanent finish is flexible and workable, making it a reliable option for long-term classroom projects. While not waterproof, it offers great utility for exploration in mixed media and acrylic painting units. Because of its high colour saturation, protective aprons or smocks are recommended to prevent staining during art activities.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Ideal for expressive and varied painting and printing techniques.

Easy Clean-up - Washes out of brushes and equipment with water prior to fully drying.

Promotes Experimentation - Blend and layer into dried surfaces to build visual complexity.

Versatile Application - Suitable across different media and techniques within the curriculum.

Classroom Ideas

Screen Printing Projects - Create dynamic prints on fabric or paper using cool red tones.

Layered Painting Lessons - Explore transparency, depth, and layering effects in acrylic.

Textural Prints - Use with lino blocks to create high-contrast, textured compositions.

Collaborative Artworks - Apply in group mural work or themed class exhibitions.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Cool Red

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L
