chroma-2-paint-2-l-cool-yellow
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Cool Yellow

Chroma 2 Paint - Cool Yellow (2L) is a high-quality, non-toxic, and Australian-made acrylic paint designed for use in primary and secondary school art classrooms. Featuring a creamy texture and strong pigmentation, this versatile paint offers excellent coverage and vibrant colour, ideal for a wide range of techniques such as silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and traditional brush painting. Its special formulation prevents the paint from drying completely hard, making clean-up simple-even after some drying time. Chroma 2's excellent œholdout allows students to apply additional layers over dry paint without reactivating previous applications, encouraging exploration of blending, layering, and textural effects. The paint provides a flexible, semi-permanent finish, which is perfect for classroom and studio projects that require adaptability and long-lasting results. Due to its intense colour saturation, it is advised that students wear aprons or protective clothing during use.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Supports painting and printmaking in vibrant, highly pigmented colours.

Easy Clean-up - Does not harden fully, allowing tools and brushes to be cleaned with water.

Promotes Experimentation - Enables students to revisit and layer over dried work effectively.

Versatile Application - Works well across a range of artistic methods and materials.

Classroom Ideas

Sunlight-Inspired Projects - Use for warm-toned screen prints or sun-themed compositions.

Lino Block Printing Exercises - Pair with darker tones for bold contrast in printmaking.

Layering Lessons - Introduce techniques for blending and depth using dried layers.

Vibrant Mixed Media Work - Combine with collage, texture, or stencil elements in group or individual pieces.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Cool Yellow

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0626/7633/6753/files/chr9021_chroma-2-cool-yellow-2-litre-paint_v1_1.webp?v=1768791621
