chroma-2-paint-2-l-green-deep
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Green Deep

Chroma 2 Paint - Green Deep (2L) is a richly pigmented, non-toxic acrylic paint made in Australia, specifically developed for primary and secondary school art environments. Its creamy consistency and deep colour saturation provide exceptional coverage, making it highly suitable for a wide range of artistic applications, including silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and freehand painting. Unlike traditional acrylics, Chroma 2 remains flexible and does not dry completely hard, enabling easy clean-up from brushes and equipment-even after some drying time. The paint's strong œholdout properties mean that dry layers can be over-painted or blended without lifting or reactivating, allowing for rich layering and depth. This feature encourages students to explore advanced painting techniques while building their understanding of texture, transparency, and mixed media. While the finish is not waterproof, it is workable and durable, making it ideal for creative classroom projects. Due to its high pigmentation, the use of protective aprons or clothing is advised during use.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Offers strong colour payoff and supports diverse art techniques.

Easy Clean-up - Washes out of brushes and tools with water before fully curing.

Promotes Experimentation - Great for teaching blending, layering, and composition.

Versatile Application - Excellent for printing and painting on paper, fabric, and board.

Classroom Ideas

Nature and Landscape Themes - Use for painting natural environments and greenery.

Lino and Block Printing - Apply in printmaking for detailed, earthy-toned prints.

Layered Paint Lessons - Explore underpainting and overpainting techniques.

Collaborative Murals - Contribute to group nature scenes or themed art displays.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Green Deep

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0626/7633/6753/files/chr9024_chroma-2-green-deep-2-litre-paint_v1_1.webp?v=1768791619
