chroma-2-paint-2-l-green-light
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Green Light

Chroma 2 Paint - Green Light (2L) is a premium-quality, non-toxic, Australian-made acrylic paint that is ideal for use in primary and secondary school art programs. With its smooth, creamy consistency and high pigment concentration, this paint delivers vivid colour and excellent coverage, making it ideal for a wide range of artistic techniques such as silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and traditional brush applications. One of its standout features is that it does not dry completely hard, which allows for easy clean-up of brushes and tools even after some drying time. The paint's excellent œholdout means students can layer or blend into dry paint without disrupting the original surface, encouraging the exploration of textural and layering techniques. Though not waterproof, its semi-permanent, flexible finish makes it highly suitable for classroom and studio projects that require a high level of versatility. Because of its strong pigmentation, it is recommended to wear protective aprons or clothing during use to prevent staining.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Supports diverse art techniques from printmaking to painting.

Easy Clean-up - Tools and brushes can be washed clean before the paint cures.

Promotes Experimentation - Enables blending and reworking of dried paint layers.

Versatile Application - Suitable for both traditional and experimental art techniques.

Classroom Ideas

Nature-Themed Projects - Use to paint leaves, plants, and outdoor scenes.

Printmaking Units - Apply in lino or mono printing for fresh, vibrant green designs.

Layering Lessons - Demonstrate how to paint or blend over dried layers without lifting.

Mixed Media Exploration - Combine with textured materials or collage for creative expression.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Green Light

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0626/7633/6753/files/chr9027_chroma-2-green-light-2-litre-paint_v1_1.webp?v=1768791618
