chroma-2-paint-2-l-honey
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Honey

Chroma 2 Paint - Honey (2L) is a high-quality, non-toxic acrylic paint made in Australia and tailored for primary and secondary school art classrooms. Its creamy texture and dense pigmentation provide excellent coverage, vibrant colour, and smooth application, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of creative activities including silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and painting. Unlike traditional acrylics, this paint does not set completely hard, allowing for easy clean-up of brushes and tools even after drying. Its exceptional œholdout capability means students can blend or overpaint on dry layers without reactivating the base coat-perfect for teaching layering and advanced acrylic techniques. The paint dries to a semi-permanent, flexible finish, making it especially suitable for both short- and long-term classroom projects. Due to its high pigmentation, protective aprons or clothing are recommended to prevent staining during art activities.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Ideal for exploring painting, printing, and mixed media techniques.

Easy Clean-up - Remains workable long enough to wash brushes and tools with ease.

Promotes Experimentation - Allows students to revisit and work back into dried areas for depth and detail.

Versatile Application - Performs well across various surfaces and methods, supporting cross-disciplinary art education.

Classroom Ideas

Warm-Toned Prints - Use in lino block or mono printing to explore earth tones and design.

Layering Techniques - Demonstrate depth and transparency by blending into dry areas.

Nature or Historical Themes - Use in projects focusing on sand, desert, or wood elements.

Textured Mixed Media Projects - Combine with paper, fabric, or other materials for tactile creations.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Honey

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L
