chroma-2-paint-2-l-warm-red
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Warm Red

Chroma 2 Paint - Warm Red (2L) is a highly pigmented, non-toxic, Australian-made acrylic paint designed specifically for primary and secondary school art classrooms. With its smooth, creamy consistency, this versatile paint delivers vibrant colour and excellent coverage, making it suitable for a wide range of techniques, including silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and general brushwork. Thanks to its unique formulation, Chroma 2 does not set completely hard when dry, making clean-up easy-even after partial drying. Its outstanding œholdout performance allows dry layers to be painted over or blended without reactivating the base coat, offering students the chance to develop skills in layering, transparency, and textural depth. Although it is not fully waterproof, the paint dries to a flexible, semi-permanent finish, making it ideal for both individual and group classroom projects. The rich warm red tone is perfect for expressive, bold compositions and lends itself well to both abstract and thematic art. Due to its intense pigmentation, it is advised that students wear protective clothing or aprons during use.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Provides bold colour and versatility across a variety of art forms.

Easy Clean-up - Easily removed from brushes and tools before the paint fully sets.

Promotes Experimentation - Supports advanced techniques like blending over dry paint.

Versatile Application - Ideal for printmaking, painting, and mixed-media exploration.

Classroom Ideas

Emotion in Art Lessons - Use warm red to explore colour and mood in expressive artwork.

Printmaking Projects - Apply in lino or silk screen printing for bold, statement-making prints.

Layering Techniques - Teach dry-on-dry and wet-on-dry blending techniques.

Collaborative Installations - Use for mural or themed class projects to create visual impact.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Warm Red

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L
