chroma-2-paint-2-l-warm-yellow
Chroma 2 Paint 2 L - Warm Yellow

Chroma 2 Paint - Warm Yellow (2L) is a non-toxic, Australian-made acrylic paint specially designed for primary and secondary school art education. Its creamy texture and rich pigmentation provide excellent coverage and vibrant colour, making it ideal for a wide array of creative techniques such as silk screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing, and brush painting. Uniquely formulated to remain flexible and not fully harden, Chroma 2 allows for easy clean-up from brushes and equipment-even after partial drying. The paint's superior "holdout" enables students to blend and paint over dried layers without reactivating them, encouraging exploration in layering, texture, and transparency. Though not waterproof, it dries to a semi-permanent finish that's both workable and durable, making it perfect for repeat use in classroom projects. The vibrant warm yellow tone adds brightness and warmth to any artwork, making it especially suitable for expressive and seasonal themes. Due to its high pigment content, it is recommended that students wear protective aprons or clothing during use to avoid staining.

Educational Benefits

Encourages Creativity - Supports painting, printmaking, and experimental art activities.

Easy Clean-up - Paint is removable from brushes and tools with water before full drying.

Promotes Experimentation - Allows reworking and layering for complex visual outcomes.

Versatile Application - Excellent for diverse techniques including printing and mixed media.

Classroom Ideas

Seasonal Art Projects - Use for summer or autumn-themed artworks.

Printmaking Exploration - Apply in screen and lino printing to create high-impact designs.

Colour Theory Lessons - Demonstrate primary and secondary colour mixing techniques.

Collaborative Murals - Incorporate in large-scale projects to add energy and warmth.

Product Specifications

Size: 2L

Colour: Warm Yellow

Finish: Creamy, semi-permanent

Application: Painting, screen printing, lino block printing, mono printing

Cleaning: Easily washes out of brushes and equipment before drying completely

Safety: Non-toxic, suitable for school use

Recommended Use: Protective clothing or aprons recommended due to high pigmentation

Made In: Australia

Pack Size: 1 bottle of 2L

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0626/7633/6753/files/chr9045_chroma-2-warm-yellow-2-litre-paint_v1_1.webp?v=1768791618
