This beautifully crafted set features three large wooden islands (45 x 45 cm each) that can be used individually or connected with bridges or the included boat, encouraging flexible and imaginative play scenarios. Each island features a chalk-friendly surface, allowing children to design and redesign their own imaginative landscapes - from winding roads and railway tracks to ponds, shops, and villages. With enough components to fill all three islands, the set easily supports small group play, making it ideal for early learning environments and collaborative projects. Children can explore role play, construction, and storytelling as they watch cars, boats, and trains move between the islands, creating dynamic narratives that evolve with every play session. The beautifully detailed trees, including both deciduous and evergreen designs, alongside houses, vehicles, and people, bring each scene to life. Made from responsibly sourced FSC‚ ® Certified Plywood and Beech Wood, this eco-conscious set combines sustainability, durability, and endless play possibilities - perfect for developing early years imagination and cooperative play.

Educational Benefits

Encourages imaginative storytelling and language development through small world play.

Promotes teamwork and communication as children collaborate to build and narrate their stories.

Supports fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving during construction and design.

Enhances environmental awareness through the use of sustainably sourced FSC‚ ® Certified materials.

Classroom Ideas

Use each island as a separate story base for group play, encouraging collaboration across small teams.

Integrate literacy learning by having children describe or write about the stories they create on their islands.

Include chalk drawing as part of art or design sessions, helping children visualise their imagined worlds.

Introduce geography or mapping concepts by connecting islands with bridges and transport routes.

Safety & Information

2 years and up.

Set includes 68 wooden pieces: 3 islands, 3 mountains, 2 bridges, 6 trees, 8 people, 12 house blocks, 2 cars, 1 boat, 1 train, and assorted building blocks.

Islands measure approximately 45 x 45 cm each.

Islands, mountains, and trees are made from FSC‚ ® Certified Plywood; all other pieces are FSC‚ ® Certified Beech Wood.

Chalk-friendly surfaces designed for reuse and creativity.

Use under adult supervision.
