An engaging introductory hands-on STEAM solution that
encourages students to discover Physical Science in action

LEGO® Education BricQ Motion combines more than 500 LEGO bricks and unique elements with standards-aligned lessons to teach physical science in years K-8. BricQ Motion engages primary and secondary school students in STEAM learning as they experiment with forces, motion, and interactions in the context of sports. BricQ Motion helps foster an understanding of physical science by providing easy, hands-on learning experiences without the need for technology. Students will experience cool "aha" moments as they set bricks in motion.

Learning Can Happen Anywhere

Continue the classroom learning experience wherever your students are with the personal learning kit for individual use. A powerful extension of the LEGO education classroom set, the personal learning kit enables educators to continue delivering STEAM curricula while driving strong learning outcomes in a hybrid or remote learning environment. Designed to work together with the classroom sets, this supplementary steam learning experience comes with additional teaching resources and student worksheets that deepen students understanding of what learned during class for a true hybrid learning experience.

LEGO® Education BricQ Motion Essential

LEGO® Education BricQ Motion Essential will give your Primary students an understanding of forces and motion as they plan and conduct investigations.

Lower Primary students will work towards determining whether design solutions work as they were intended to change the speed or direction of an object with a push or a pull.

Upper Primary students will investigate the patterns in an object's motion, developing and sharpening their ability to predict future motion.

This introductory STEAM experience offers two
units of 45-minute, standard-aligned lessons
(one each for lower and upper primary grades).

They include everything from engaging videos and printable worksheets that excite and inspire students, to lesson plans, teacher videos, assessment rubrics and maths and language arts extensions that support and scaffold teachers. BricQ Motion Essential is supported by a comprehensive professional development program.

Secondary Education

LEGO® Education BricQ Motion Prime

LEGO Education BricQ Motion Prime will challenge your Years 6-8 secondary students to apply their scientific inquiry skills to provide evidence of the change in an object's motion based on its force and mass.

In the curriculum unit, Science of Sports, they'll apply Newton's three laws of motion as they design, develop, and optimize a solution involving the collision of two objects. Throughout the BricQ Motion Prime lessons, they'll strengthen their communication skills in collaborative discussions, presenting and analysing their solutions.

This introductory STEAM experience offers one unit
of seven x 45-minutes, standards-aligned lessons

They include everything from engaging videos and printable worksheets that excite and inspire students, to lesson plans, teacher videos, assessment rubrics and math and language arts extensions that support and scaffold teachers. BricQ Motion Prime is supported by a comprehensive professional development program.
