The easel is height adjustable measuring from 115cm to 128cm. The boards can also be rotated to use for portrait or landscape drawings. The easel weighs 12kg and can fold up for easy storage. Each plastic tray can fit up to 4 paint pots and brushes or markers (Can be used with the SA1610 paint pots).Size when folded: 130(H) x 60(W) x 10(D)cm (from 5 star nut to 5 star nut) or 6(D)cm (from board surface to other side board surface).Working with easels has so many development benefits for children. Holding and moving paint brushes, or drawing tool helps strengthen fine motor skills including hand-eye coordination. Moving the brush around the paper works the large muscles in the arms and shoulders, further developing upper body strength. The bigger the surface, the more the muscles are working. Cognitive skills are developed when children use their thinking and problem solving abilities to put paint to paper, minimise and control drips, mix colours and organise their artwork using the space to fill with their creative ideas. Social skills are also enhanced when children converse with their peers around the easel; whether their working side by side or across from each other to share paint and ideas. The possibilities are endless!Creatistics offers a range of best quality, safe and great value art and craft resources which have been developed especially for classroom use. Designed to inspire educators and enhance children’s learning through fun, creativity and self-expression, the range features all your classroom essentials including paint and painting equipment, pencils, markers, glue, dough, clay and craft essentials.

Risk assessment should be undertaken to assess the risk of items tipping over. To help prevent tip-over, anchor items (especially tall pieces), place heaviest objects on the bottom and never let children climb or hang on the unit. Note: Use of restraints may only reduce, but not eliminate the risk of tip-over.
