The 1.8m pole protector is a popular addition to many school outdoor areas. With the smooth, durable vinyl surface and foam insert, this pole protector is fully adjustable with hook and loop fasteners and can accommodate many configuration and size requirements. Suitable for protecting children from both round and square posts up to 18cm in diameter. The pole protector is 180cm long and 3.5cm thick.

The purpose of the protector is to be installed around the poles and posts within the playground environment. In the instance of a child coming into contact, the foam design will provide a degree of impact attenuation and shock absorbency. Reducing the level of impact compared to direct contact with a wooden or metal pole.

Playing physical games gives children opportunities to develop confidence in managing movement challenges such as balancing, climbing, crawling, bending or stretching. Children explore new ways to move, and learn how to control these movements safely in various spaces around them. These confidences will grow as they join in these physical games that a range of climbing frames, walk boards and other associated products can provide the growing child.
