The RDE smartLav+ is a broadcast-gradewearable microphone for iOS devices. Simply plug it into your iPhone or iPad and secure it to your talent’s clothing using the supplied mounting clip. It is designed for a range of film making and broadcasting scenarios and perfect for classroom use.

The microphone can be discreetly placed onto clothing, and the portable format allows you to broadcast quality audio without the complication and expense of additional wireless equipment.

Connect thesmartLav+ microphone to a smartphone or tablet, and use the Rode Rec app for iOS to start recording, or use any other audio app of your choice. A foam pop shield minimises wind noise.

A 1.2m (3′) cable is supplied however the RDE SC1 extension cable is optionally available to add another 6m of cable.
