A large, heavy duty blue geometric carpet for classrooms. Features a thick and soft nylon pile with a latex non-slip backing. Easy to spot clean and stain resistant.

In an early childhood setting group times, or circle times, are an important part of the daily curriculum. A carpet to comfortably sit the class, or group of children together with their educators creates the ideal space for stories, role play or drama, games, dancing, yoga, group work, or yarning. Starting off the day with circle time is a great way to welcome everyone to the learning space and plan out the day’s events in partnership with the class, and then transition the children into the learning day. A carpet creates a comfortable space for children to use throughout the days play as well, with the carpet waiting to welcome the class for the next group time, or circle time.

Avoid any cleaning agent with bleach or strong chemicals. It is best to try an area for colourfastness before using across a large area of the rug. We recommend to use a dry powder style of cleaner as they can be vacuumed out of the rug and do not leave any residue. When cleaning, always blot, and never scrub or rub abrasively. This may create a fuzzy area.

When vacuuming, do not use the rotating head. Even though this carpet has a tightly bound edge to help prevent fraying, it is best to avoid vacuuming over binding/serging/edging to prolong the life of the carpet. If you do vacuum over the edge of the rug it can cause serge yarn to become frayed and torn. Please do not use a wet style of cleaning method and do not saturate carpet with wet solution.
