This wooden peg board is excellent for fine motor skills, pattern making and early maths. The peg board is made from beech wood and fits on our MTA Spaces Exploratory Play A3 light panel. The pegboard measures 42cm wide x 29.5cm in length. It has a varnished finish and is smooth to touch. The pegboard also features 160 holes for pattern making. These holes measures 1.5cm in diameter. They are designed for use with our Wooden Cylinders and our Acrylic Cylinders (both sold separately). If you would like to use this board on our A2 lightbox, then simply use 2 of these boards at the same time next to each other. Suitable for children from the age of 3 years. Excellent for fine motor skills, problem solving and creative thinking. This fun building set is excellent for the light box as well as for open ended exploratory play. Supported by a beautiful and colourful palette, construction activities are enhanced through light play exploration. Excellent for light boxes and sensory play as well as STEM activities, early maths and open ended play. This item supports a STEM and a STEAM based curriculum. It encourages and develops the critical thinking, problem solving and innovative ideas that are important in STEM and STEAM based projects. This curriculum integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Art, and the resources need to be able to support these different fields as one integrated pedagogy.
