A set of soft floor mats. These mats will create a beautiful play space. They each measure 140cm wide x 220cm long. Made from EVA memory foam. They feature non-slip backing and the top fabric is made from a soft and silky polyester velvet. Each rug is very soft to touch, creating a comfortable play space for children. Babies and toddlers will delight in the soft sensory experience as they crawl across these mats.Please note that as this mat is made from memory foam is it not suitable for high traffic areas. This carpet is best suited for spaces that require a soft floor that will create a sensory environment and not suited for use in a general classroom or heavy traffic area.Kit includes the Pebbles (LIJ2061), Waves (LIJ2062) and Greenery (LIJ2063) Soft Floor Mats. Each measures 150(W) x 220(L)cm. The contents of this kit may vary. For current kit contents please see the tab below.This carpet does not include a stain protection treatment. We recommend to use a proprietary stain protection treatment prior to use and update as required. As this carpet does not have stain protection it may stain and mark.Cleaning guidelines:This carpet has a polyester outer cover and an EVA memory foam inner lining. The memory foam makes the carpet very soft, but also requires gentle handling. We recommend the following cleaning methods1. Vacuum then a spot clean using a mild detergent. Ensure to dry the carpet thoroughly as the EVA foam inside will damage over time if wet.2. Dry clean.3. Vacuum then gentle steam clean with short bursts of steam. Using too much heat or water will damage the foam. Ensure to dry the carpet thoroughly as the EVA foam inside will damage over time if wet.NOTE:Do not fold or twist the carpet. The EVA memory foam will wrinkle and damage.Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron.Always roll the carpet with the printed side facing outwards. Rolling with the non-slip side facing outwards (printed side inwards) will result in wrinkles that cannot be removed.Leaving furniture on top of the carpet will result in permanent marking.Creating inviting environments is important for any classroom space. Using a variety of textures, fabrics, colours and materials helps to create an environment that is visually appealing and engaging, but also calming and restful. The learning environment should be comfortable and welcoming for children, parents and educators. This carpet is also a great way to help support social distancing and physical distancing in the classroom. Both these types of room settings can facilitate collaboration with others, discussion, demonstration, experiential, explicit, feedback and reflection, guided learning or independent learning modes.
