Pipe Clay Triangles are an essential in any laboratory – keep students safe while they perform exciting experiments!

Porcelain parts:  50mm approx.

Wire support:   55mm approx.

Overall:  150mm   *measurement taken from one wire point to another

 

Usually the wire is bent and wrapped around the tripod.

 

A crucible with a base as small as 19mm would fit this pipeclay triangle. Small crucibles such as this may slide down slightly to rest in the middle section for a snug fit. Any crucible with a top diameter larger than 40mm will be safe to use in this pipeclay triangle.
