This Nichrome Inoculating Loop Holder with Chuck is an environmentally friendly alternative to single-use disposable plastic inoculating loops. Create a durable loop with nichrome wire (sold separately) to inoculate bacterial or fungal samples on culture media. Before use and between sample spreading reheat over a bunsen flame to red hot followed by natural cooling.

The Nichrome Inoculating Loop Holder with Chuck is durable enough to be reused many times and will withstand autoclaving, steam cleaning, washing and more! Approx. 220m in length.
