Bee-Bot is improved, and can now interact with other Bee-Bots and Blue-Bots! Record audio to play back to confirm when commands are entered, and Bee-Bot can now playback audio when Bee-Bot follows commands.

 By using the wooden tactile coding discs, students can lay out the steps they want Blue-Bot to perform, then program the robot with the same steps and follow its moves. By visually comparing the code and the movements of the robot, it is much easier to debug a code, since they don’t have to remember the sequence of the steps they have programmed. Each set includes 24 discs, each measuring 50 x 50cm (12 forward/backward, 5 left arrows, 5 right arrows, one stop and one start disc).
The mats included in the kit all have a 15 by 15 grid which is the distance Blue-Bot travels in one step. The mats have the following sizes:

  • Odd & Even Number Street – 55 x 160cm
  • Maze – 145 x 205c
  • Upper & Lowercase – 105 x 120cm
  • Australian Animals – 75 x 105cm
  • Coordinates Whiteboard 100 x 205cm
  • Transparent Grid – 90 x 90cm

*Please note: Mats are delivered rolled up. To flatten and remove creases place flat in the sun or use a blow dryer to speed up the process*
