Phase 3 Workbook - Phonics

Learn to read, write and spell at home or at school, all while having fun! Phonics Phase 3 Workbook activities progress week by week around Phase 3 of the Letters & Sounds systematic phonics program. This workbook supports children as they begin to learn the 44 letter sounds of the English language. The Phonics Workbook has been designed for 5+ year olds, and is the third of six workbooks that together form the Letters & Sounds Workbook program. As your child begins to sound out words in each activity, they will also develop their skills in reading and spelling, while having fun at the same time! Please note that there is a mixture of precursive and print fonts-precursive for letter and word-level work to support handwriting and print font for text-level work to support reading.
Phase 3 introduces digraphs and trigraphs, enabling students to decode and spell a wider range of words. Students practise blending and segmenting using these new sounds and progress to reading simple sentences. This workbook also begins to develop fluency and comprehension with structured phonics-based activities that align with classroom instruction.
