Explore pattern making, early maths and creativity with this wooden peg board kit. This wooden peg board kit can be used separately or on our MTA Spaces Exploratory Play Light boxes. Both boards can be used at the same time on our A2 light panel or split them up and fit 1 pegboard on two different A3 lightpanels. This fun and open ended kit includes 2 x Wooden Peg Boards (KD983), 2 x Wooden Cylinders packs (KD984) and 3 x Acrylic Cylinder packs (KS985). For a total of 352 pieces. Each cylinder or rod measures 5cm in length. The contents of this kit may vary. For current kit contents please see the table below. Suitable for children from the age of 3 years. Excellent for fine motor skills, problem solving and creative thinking. This fun building set is excellent for the light box as well as for open ended exploratory play. Supported by a beautiful and colourful palette, construction activities are enhanced through light play exploration. Excellent for light boxes and sensory play as well as STEM activities, early maths and open ended play. This item supports a STEM and a STEAM based curriculum. It encourages and develops the critical thinking, problem solving and innovative ideas that are important in STEM and STEAM based projects. This curriculum integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Art, and the resources need to be able to support these different fields as one integrated pedagogy.
