Waterfall & Water Tray Set

The waterfall and water tray set is an excellent addition to the outdoor learning environment. This set can have many children busily playing away the hours learning about gravity, direction of water flow, volume of water added in the splash tray all while enjoying in a play based way. Teachers set up the water channels, splash tray and pump placing a bucket of water for the hose to sit into where children pump the water from. This set is great for the whole class to be involved in and the water can be constantly recycled meaning you only fill up one bucket of water that can be then used to water the garden at the end of the day. To empty the tray simply push one side of the plug to empty the water. Height clearance for a bucket under the tray is 20cm. Depth of the tray is 5cm.

This set includes 3 water channels, a filter with hose and a splash table for exciting water play. The splash tray can be used on its own for the children to use as a water table and the low depth means minimal water is used and creates a safe play environment. The wide table allows a number of children to stand around the table to play which will help develop their social skills and encourage them to work together promoting teamwork.

Encourage children to measure and explore volume and mass as they pump the water at different speeds through the filter and down each of the channels. Made from eucalyptus to withstand the outdoor elements and constant use. Each of the water channels come with wide legs to prevent the channels from tipping over while also keeping them balanced on uneven ground.

Please ensure the bucket of water the filter sits in is free of mud and sand to avoid the filter from blocking. Assembly required.:

Please be aware that this item is not 100% watertight. Small drops of water are to be expected at the ends of the waterfall channel.
