These Watercolour sponges are a great tool to use for painting with watercolour paint, dyes, or any water-based paint. Create fun patterns and effects with these assorted sea sponges and plain round sponges. When they are dry they are rough and textured, but once you have soaked them in water they become soft. To use these sponges simply soak in water to make soft, then squeeze out any excess liquid, then dab into your choice of paint. Make sure you really soak the sponge, then apply the paint to your chosen art material such as cardboard, wall displays, papier mache etc. For a fun patterned effect dab the paper with the sponge instead of wiping the sponge onto the paper Comes in a set of 6 different sized sponges, including 2 round synthetic and 4 sea sponges.
