Armature wire is handy for all craft needs! Made from aluminium. Size: 1.5mm thick, 175m roll. Ideal for art and craft experiences including sculpture, threading, jewellery making and more. So much can be done with this versatile product. It makes a sturdy yet pliable medium for threading beads, sculpting into shapes and forms as well as twisting and bending to make jewellery from. Once the wire is in the desired shape it also makes a terrific frame in which fine art students can mould and sculpt dough, clay or other sculpting mediums over. Armature wire makes a great frame in which string, wool or twine can be wound around, making stunning pieces of art to hang, frame or stand alone as a sculpture. Armature wire can be manipulated with hands as well as building tools including needle nose pliers and tweezers depending on the project at hand. A wide variety of things can be added to wire art including beads and buttons, feathers, pipe cleaners and many more. Students can use armature wire to mould hanging ornaments including Christmas tree ornaments, pot plant hangers or door knob hangers to name a few.

A 175 metre roll ensures there’s plenty to go around the class or great for stocking up the classroom art supplies for many projects to come.
