A little child's desire is to own her own pet. However, what kind of animal would be the ideal friend? A fish is too... moist; a mouse is too little; and a cat is too typical! She is inspired while she plays with her toy dinosaur. And how about a living, actual dinosaur? It would get her to school. It would require an abundance of food, a swimming pool for drinking, and a dino flap for mobility.

After spending the entire day vividly dreaming, the girl trudges upstairs to her bedroom carrying her tiny plastic dinosaur. Her dreams come true when the dinosaur from her daydreams appears in the garden and pokes its head through the bedroom window as she drifts off to sleep.
