Insect Exploration Kit

This Insect Exploration Kit includes all of your essentials for adventurous children learning about insects! Items can be used individually or in small groups, with 12 trays, 12 hand magnifiers, 12 giant bug-viewing jars, 12 tweezers, a total of 14 jumbo toy insects, and a set of 6 real-life Mini Beast specimens encased in resin.

This kit is perfect for outdoor adventuring to find insects in the wild; or for safely and comfortably getting to know different insects inside the the classroom, without having to go near any live ones!

The Fly, Ant, Butterfly, Bee, Ladybug, Grasshopper, Dragonfly figures invite imaginative play and are perfect for vocabulary development. An activity guide includes facts about each animal and early science discussion starters. The set is made of durable, non-toxic plastic and comes with 7 different insects. This set of Mini Beasts (KNB2511) includes specimens of insects and spiders. It includes 6 resin blocks of varying sizes, each with a different specimen. It allows students to investigate the world of these little creatures and get up close with insects and spiders, something they usually wouldn't see from such a small distance. Included in this set are a a praying mantis, cockroach, shield bug, cricket, goliath scarab beetle and spiny spider.

This solid rubberwood Easy Hold Magnifier (CT73363) features 2x magnification, with an inset 3x magnification lens for extra-close viewing! The easy-hold handles are large and comfortable, designed to be suitable for young children aged 1+ years old.

This giant bug viewer (FD150B) allows kids to observe and explore insects in a macro way, up to five times their actual size! This ventilated bug viewer can be opened on both ends for easy access. Its large size makes it a versatile viewer for both small insects and larger specimens. Children can practice viewing with the pretend plastic bug included in the pack.
