This stunning outdoor mud kitchen is the perfect addition to any play area, offering children an engaging role-play experience. Made from solid eucalyptus, this kitchen features a real stainless steel sink, hooks for hanging utensils, a storage shelf, and a working water pump. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor play, it encourages imaginative play and hands-on learning.

The kitchen measures 119cm wide x 45cm deep x 111cm high. Please note, the pump and kitchen are not suitable for use with sand, thick dirt, or rocks, as these could clog the pump and tap. The sink holds 9 litres of liquid.

Regular oiling and maintenance will ensure the kitchen retains its beautiful timber finish. Assembly is required upon arrival.

Educational Benefits:

  • Encourages imaginative and dramatic play, helping children explore everyday life roles
  • Promotes the development of social skills through collaborative play
  • Builds fine motor skills as children pump water, pour, and clean
  • Teaches daily routines and responsibility through pretend play in the mud kitchen

Classroom & Play Ideas:

  • Use the water pump for science lessons on how water flows and the mechanics behind pumps
  • Incorporate nature into play by adding herbs or pretend food for an interactive experience
  • Encourage tidying and organising skills by having children clean and put away utensils after use

Timber Maintenance Guide:

  • Clean regularly using a wood cleaner and allow it to dry in the sun
  • Sand and oil as needed to preserve the timber's natural beauty
  • Ensure furniture is dried after exposure to water to prevent mould and rot
  • Cover or store under shelter when not in use to increase longevity
