The Retort Stand & Rod Value Pack base is made of corrosion resistant, powder coated pressed steel, and features a tapped hole, suitable for connecting the included rod, or any other rods with a 10mm x 1.5mm metric thread. The stand measures 20.5cm long and 13cm wide. The included steel rod measures 60cm tall, 12mm in diameter and features a 10 x 1.5mm metric thread. The stand weighs 1.5kg, providing superb stability for basic experiments & setups, without being too heavy to move around. The durable and sturdy construction of this set makes it an excellent choice for science classrooms & laboratories.
