The Bayadherra Adult Apron is a unique and meaningful addition to any creative or educational setting. Designed in collaboration with Bayadherra, a proud Aboriginal Yorta Yorta-owned business, this art apron showcases an exclusive Indigenous print design that brings cultural richness and identity into the classroom, art studio or home. Suitable for adults and students aged 12+ years, this apron not only provides protection during messy activities such as painting, crafting and cooking, but also serves as a conversation piece that promotes reconciliation, cultural awareness and understanding. The adjustable neck strap and tie-up back ensure a comfortable fit for various body sizes, and the apron is gentle machine washable in cold water, making it both functional and reusable.

Bayadherra was founded by Yorta Yorta siblings Luke and Siena Tieri, descendants of the James family from Shepparton, Victoria. Their grandfather, Glenn James OAM, was the first Indigenous man to umpire Australian Rules Football in the VFL/AFL. The name ˜Bayadherra' means ˜turtle' in Yorta Yorta language, symbolising their spiritual animal totem and strong connection to community and country. Through their work, they aim to reflect their heritage in authentic contemporary art that educates and inspires.
