HART Hand Pump

The HART Hand Pump is great for keeping balls and resources inflated and ready for play. This pump comes in a bright colour to make it easy to locate and the plastic design also makes it easy to clean and quick to dry. This also makes the pump lightweight to be easily carried around in a bag or sports kit.

An inflating needle is included and can be found under the pop cap in the handle. To increase the longevity of your needle, after each use remove the needle from the pump and place in the handle so it doesn't get bent or damaged.

To inflate a ball start by unfolding the ball and pull outwards from the centre. Then ensure the bladder is positioned freely in the centre of the ball and screw the needle into the end of the pump making sure it is tight and no air can escape. Moisten the needle with a water based lubricant and insert it slowly into the ball making sure it goes straight in and not at an angle. Make sure you do not exert pressure on the ball while you do this as this could damage the bladder. Inflate the ball to the recommended pressure pumping the handle up and down in a nice smooth rhythm. Check the ball with a pressure gauge and once the ideal pressure has been reached remove the needle and place in the handle and seal with the pop cap.
