Hot Plate - Simmerstat Alloy

Magnetic Hot Plate & Stirrer combination with 'Simmerstat' temperature control. See SERCH1920-001 for details on heating. See SERCH2080-001 for details on magnetic stirring.Front panel provides the user with mains switch, heat control and speed control for stirring. Plain, rectangular, high temperature alloy top plate 200x180mm.SPECIFICATIONS:

• Plate size: 200x180mm. Material: High temperature aluminium alloy.
• Front Panel Controls: Mains ON/OFF Switch. (illuminated). Control knob for heat and for stirrer speed.
• Stirring speed: Variable from approx. 150 to 1200 RPM.
• Cooling: Ventilated Housing and heat baffles mounted to the underside of hot plate. Convection cooling inside housing. ¢ Power: 220/240V.AC. 50/60 Hz. 3 Amp approx. Element 650 watt.
• Simmerstat  model: Maximum plate surface temperature 420C. with small load and with heat control on 'FULL'. Heat adjustable from 0-10 on scale.
• Thermostat  model: 320C as the maximum position on thermostat control knob.

NOTE: Because the Thermostat model is limited for maximum temperature, it is not suitable for boiling large volumes of water.
